About NACS

Northwest Acute Care Specialists (NACS) was formed in 1997 through the merger of four Emergency Medicine physician groups that were contracted with Legacy Health System. Today, NACS is an independent Emergency Medicine and Ambulatory care practice group that exclusively contracts with Legacy Health System to provide all of its Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine professional services. NACS staff provide clinical services to Legacy's five Emergency Departments, two Pediatric Emergency Departments, five Emergency Departments associated Ambulatory Care Units and one free standing Urgent Care Clinic.

NACS currently employs a total of 150 Emergency Medicine physicians, Ambulatory Care physicians, Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and scribes.
