While the APPs function at a higher level, there is always physician support when needed. In addition, we have staffing guidelines for when the APPs need to staff patients, which includes certain chief complaints, vital signs, acuity, etc

We want you to be hard working, open to feedback, and flexible. This job is always changing – our hours, our shifts, what we need to staff, how we deliver care. Being flexible and open to change is key.

Yes! We have a home plus one model which has greatly contributed to both APP satisfaction and increased our ability to help cover sick calls, leaves of absences, FMLAs, etc.

You are given an onboarding checklist, new hire documents, clinical guidelines and EPIC training before you start. You are matched with either the Lead APP or an APP mentor who will be your point person early on in your onboarding. You receive a minimum of 4 training shifts, which are done with another APP, paid at the clinical rate, and will receive ongoing formal feedback from leadership at month 1, 3, and 6.
